- What is the service life?
- The useful life is set to coincide with the timing of road repairs. The useful life is assumed to be 10-15 years.
- Is regular maintenance required?
- TAIYO SHEET itself does not require maintenance. Only the filler material will require maintenance when the filler material wears out. 2 to 5 years is expected.
- How effective (wide) is the snow-melting effect?
- Although it varies depending on the output and traffic volume, the snow-melting effect is 10 to 15 cm on each side from the center of the installation site, resulting in a snow-melting effect of 20 to 30 cm for each TAIYO SHEET installed.
- Can the system be controlled remotely or by temperature?
- It can be controlled by remote control and temperature control. Other controls such as wet, road temperature, and snowfall sensors are also possible.
- What is the service life of the filler?
- Although it depends on traffic volume, the period is generally equivalent to pavement renewal. Periodic checks and surface repairs will extend the service life of the pavement.
- Can it be installed on any pavement?
- Possible.
Can be installed on a wide range of pavements, including asphalt pavements (dense grain, permeable/drainage, fine grain, etc.) and concrete pavements. - Can it be installed on thin pavement?
- The recommended pavement thickness is at least 10 cm. 10 cm or less is also possible product-wise and technically. Please consult with us.
- How much electrical capacity is required?
- Approx. per 10m construction length (2 tracks on either side of the vehicle wheel track)
2.4 to 3.5 kVA of power is required.
